Padel training weekends in Spain without the package

Your club-mates want a proper training block in the sun: real coaching, real court hours, measurable improvement. The packaged camps charge £700-900 per person for that plus a hotel you did not choose. Here is the honest maths: the padel inside those packages costs a fraction when booked directly with the academy. We arrange that direct booking with verified academies in Seville, Marbella, Valencia and the Costa Blanca — free. You keep your flights and hotel.

The build-your-own camp formula

Day structure: 2-3 hours of structured coaching per day — technical blocks in the morning (bandeja, smash, net transitions), supervised match play in the afternoon. Ratios: one coach per 4-6 players, one court per 4. Duration: a long weekend (Fri-Sun) is the sweet spot; a full week suits competition squads. The academy provides balls and can lend rackets.

Where to train

Seville for value and academy density, Marbella for premium facilities and winter sun, Valencia for indoor insurance at mega-clubs, the Costa Blanca for cheap flights and English-speaking coaching as standard.

Why we can do this free

PadeLock's software runs the day-to-day of real Spanish padel academies — classes, attendance, payments. We know which academies have genuine coaching structure because we see it. Connecting your group costs us little and earns the academies customers, so nobody adds a margin on top of local rates.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a padel camp package?

Packaged camps bundle hotel, transfers and padel and charge accordingly — often £700-900 per person. The padel inside them (courts plus coaching) costs a fraction when booked directly with the academy. We arrange exactly that direct booking, free; you keep control of flights and accommodation.

How many hours of coaching should a training weekend have?

The standard serious-group format is 2-3 hours of structured coaching per day for 2-3 days: technical blocks in the morning (bandeja, vibora, net game), match play with coach corrections in the afternoon. One coach per 4-6 players keeps the feedback real.

What level do we need to be?

Any — the academies we work with coach from beginner groups to competition squads, and a mixed group simply splits across courts by level. Tell us roughly how long each of you has played and we will brief the club.

When is the best time for a training camp in Spain?

October to April: mild weather, courts at off-peak availability, and cheaper flights than summer. Andalusia and the Costa Blanca stay playable outdoors all winter; Valencia adds indoor mega-clubs as insurance.
