Padel holidays in Spain: the honest guide for groups
Spain is the home of padel — and the best place in the world to bring a group of 10, 20 or 40 players for a long weekend of courts, coaching and sun. This guide compares the real destinations with real data: we run the largest verified directory of padel clubs in Spain (350+ clubs and academies across 16 regions), so unlike tour-operator brochures, our numbers come from the ground. We do not sell packages: we connect your group directly with the clubs, for free.
Where to go: the comparison
| Destination | Verified clubs (our directory) | Best for | Airport |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marbella / Costa del Sol | 14 in Marbella alone, 33 in Málaga province | Luxury venues (8-court beachside clubs), corporate retreats, winter sun | Málaga (AGP) |
| Seville | 24+ across the province | City-break + padel combo, stag & hen groups, the deepest academy network | Seville (SVQ) |
| Costa Blanca (Alicante, Torrevieja, Dénia) | 30 in Alicante province | Cheap flights, huge international scene, English spoken everywhere | Alicante (ALC) |
| Valencia | 43 in the province | Big-city trip with mega-clubs (up to 30 courts) 15 minutes out | Valencia (VLC) |
| Galicia (Vigo, A Coruña) | 64 across 4 provinces | Off-the-beaten-path padel + food trip; nobody else offers groups here | Vigo / A Coruña / Santiago |
How a group padel trip actually works
The maths every organiser needs: one court per 4 players, one coach per 4-6 players. A group of 16 wants 4 courts blocked for 2-3 hours plus 3 coaches, ideally ending in an "Americano" social tournament. Most clubs can host this — but booking it from abroad by email takes weeks of back-and-forth. That is the gap we close: we already know which clubs have the courts, the English-speaking coaches and the appetite for groups, and we arrange it over WhatsApp.
What you should be wary of
If a website sells you flights + hotel + padel as one package, in the UK and EU that is a regulated package holiday — check they hold the proper licence (ATOL/ABTA in the UK) before paying. Our model avoids the issue entirely: you keep control of flights and accommodation, and we simply make sure the padel — the reason you are coming — is properly organised with real, verified clubs.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell padel holiday packages?
No — and that is the point. We are not a tour operator: we run the largest verified directory of padel clubs and academies in Spain (350+ and counting). We connect your group directly with the clubs and English-speaking coaches, free of charge. You book your own flights and hotel (or use any travel agent you like), so there is no package markup on the padel itself.
What size of group can you arrange padel for?
From 8 friends to 40+ players. As a rule of thumb a group needs one court per 4 players and one coach per 4-6 players for clinics — so a group of 20 needs 5 courts blocked at the same time plus 3-4 coaches. That is exactly the kind of booking individual clubs struggle to handle by email, and the kind we arrange over WhatsApp in hours.
Which Spanish city is best for a padel trip?
It depends on the trip: Marbella for luxury venues and year-round sun (Puente Romano, Manolo Santana), Seville for city-break charm plus the deepest network of academies, Costa Blanca (Alicante/Torrevieja) for cheap flights and a huge expat padel scene, Valencia for big-city padel with 30-court mega clubs nearby. The comparison table on this page breaks it down.
Do the coaches speak English?
In the destinations we recommend for international groups, yes — we specifically flag clubs with English-speaking coaching. On the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca it is standard; in Seville and Valencia we point you to the academies that offer it.
